Overview
OddsProbe takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains exactly what data we collect and how we handle it. Short version: the calculators collect nothing. The AI chat sends your messages to Google's servers using your own API key.
EV and Kelly Calculators — Zero Data Collection
All EV, Kelly Criterion, CLV, and parlay calculations run entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. No inputs — including bankroll amounts, odds, probability estimates, or bet sizes — are ever transmitted to any server. Your financial data never leaves your device.
AI Analyst Chat — Your API Key, Your Data
The AI analyst uses Google Gemini 2.5 Flash via Google's Generative Language API. You provide your own free API key from Google AI Studio. When you send a message, it goes directly from your browser to Google's servers using your key. OddsProbe never sees, logs, or stores your chat messages. Google's data handling policies apply to any data sent through the Gemini API — see Google AI Studio Terms for details. On the free tier, Google may use prompts for model improvement. You can opt out by upgrading to a paid Google API tier.
API Key Storage
Your Gemini API key is stored in your browser's localStorage if you choose to save it. It stays on your device and is never sent to OddsProbe servers. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's local storage, or by clearing the key in the chat interface.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics to understand which pages are popular. This data is anonymous — it tells us "200 people used the EV calculator today" but nothing about individual users.
Cookies and Advertising
We display ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads. You can disable cookies entirely in your browser settings.
